I use unrefined Shea butter as this is prepared without any added chemicals and preservatives therefore making it full of vitamins and skin loving benefits and is particularly good at penetrating the skin. Jojoba Oil is claimed to be a fantastic moisturiser as its structure is very similar to the skins Sebum. It's non greasy and creates a very light layer on the skin which helps prevent water loss, which is great for keeping those lips from drying out.
Finally, it is Vegan friendly as it is made with Candelilla wax which is derived from the leaves of a small shrub. Its perfect for lip balms as it is an alternative to the usual beeswax and it helps to give that glossy look and create an occlusive layer on the skin.
