I thought I would give a short explanation of some of the ingredients as when you look at the ingredient list some of the names can be off putting. 

We have included Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate and Cocamidopropyl Betaine. As weird as these names sound they are the surfactants that are needed in order to give the bar the lather and foam and they are derived from coconut oil. BTMS-25 is a conditioning agent which is extremely gentle on hair and helps reduce tangles and leave your hair feel shiny and manageable. Stearic acid again is a mild surfactant that cleanses without stripping your hair of your natural oils and provides a lightweight conditioner to help protect your hair. Panthenol draws moisture from the environment and directs it to where it's most needed and Phytokeratin which is derived from wheat, corn and soya beans enhances moisturisation and helps repair any damage to the hair, restoring strength and elasticity. These ingredients along with Argan oil, Coconut oil, Olive oil, Cocoa butter and clays have helped achieve this hair loving shampoo bar. 

Personally for me, I have found that there has been  no need for a conditioner bar with these ingredients working their magic. However, you will need to use the bar for a couple of weeks as it will take time to remove any build up from other hair products and shampoos. 

The amount of washes you will get out of these bars will depend on the length of your hair, your hair type, how often you wash and how much lather you like; we are all different. But one thing for sure is that you won't have any waste and certainly no plastic bottles.
